WASHINGTON-Customer care, billing and order management solutions provider Amdocs and Hewlett-Packard Co. reported plans to provide a real-time, prepaid billing solution capable of running on public switched telephone and Internet Protocol networks.
Amdocs said the solution will integrate HP’s OpenCall platform and Amdocs’ prepaid offering into a real-time solution allowing service providers to combat prepaid fraud by monitoring customer credit levels as customers use the service. The solution will also offer location-based billing options.
Amdocs also announced the availability of its Communications Customer Relationship Management system as part of its Ensemble suite of products designed for wireless, wireline and IP service providers.
“Amdocs’ C-CRM addresses the specific needs of the communications environment, such as handling multiple lines of business, complex ordering and provisioning, unlimited levels of corporate hierarchies and massive data volumes,” noted Shlomo Baleli, president of Amdocs’ R&D Division. “Furthermore, by integrating front- and back-end systems, C-CRM facilitates customer-centric operations to improve customer service levels.”
