Lifeclinic.com puts health info on handheld devices

REDMOND, Wash.-Lifeclinic.com Corp. announced wireless access to the company’s consumer Web site, enabling customers to access information from wireless handheld devices including Web-enabled cell phones and personal digital assistants.

The service will allow members to access their blood pressure, weight and pulse records, as well as view health news and find a blood pressure kiosk near them with the Lifeclinic.com kiosk finder.

Lifeclinic.com said that to ensure the security of medical data, all of the solutions use a Secure Socket Layer to encrypt and protect the data.
