HARTFORD, Conn.-Paradigm4 Inc. introduced a solution called Ez-Attach4, which allows users to open document attachments on e-mail messages forwarded to their wireless devices.
The solution is powered by ActiveNet technology from Equinox Solutions Inc. and works in conjunction with the WorkStyle Server from Wireless Knowledge L.L.C. or BlackBerry devices from Research In Motion Ltd.
Once opened, users may interact with the attachment through e-mail, calendar and contact-list applications, the company said.
E-mail messages with attachments sent to the users’ wireless device are forwarded to a special attachment conversion e-mail account, which strips the attached document of graphics and reformats it to fit the device in use before resending it to the user.
Documents supported include Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Adobe Acrobat.
