DALLAS-Wireless enabling technology developer JP Systems Inc. closed its second round of financing, raising $45 million from a combination of private equity firms and strategic partner companies.
The latest round of financing included private equity firms Baker Communications Fund II L.P., Odyssey Investment Partners Fund L.P., Investor AB, Global Technology Group Ventures L.P., and Pacesetter Growth Fund L.P. The strategic partners included Network Associates Inc., Complete Business Solutions Inc. and Glenayre Technologies Inc.
JP Systems said the funding will help it accelerate its product development plan and increase sales and marketing efforts globally.
