OSI opens offices in Europe

FOLSOM, Calif.-Software solutions provider Objective Systems Integrators opened three offices in Europe as part of its strategy to target the estimated $4 billion European OSS market.

The new offices will support sales in Europe, which OSI said have grown from 7 percent of the company’s worldwide revenue in 1997 to 21 percent of fiscal year 2000.

“Our expansion in Europe reflects OSI’s success in addressing the needs of a European market being driven by deregulation, increased competition, consolidation and the introduction of new technologies, particularly in cable, wireless and [Voice over Internet Protocol],” said Philippe Caymaris, vice president and managing director of Europe at OSI.

The new offices will be based in Amsterdam, Netherlands, serving the Belgium, Netherlands and Luxembourg region; London, serving the United Kingdom and Ireland; and Mainz, Germany, serving Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

The company plans to open two more offices later this year in Paris and Milan, Italy.
