HELSINKI, Finland-Tibco Software Inc., which provides real-time infrastructure software for e-business, is deploying Nokia Corp.’s WAP technology for its Tibco MobileConnect third-generation networks, enabling mobile access to personalized services and information.
Under terms of the agreement, Tibco will bundle the Nokia WAP server with its ActivePortal product suite. The company said the MobileConnect service will provide telecommunication service providers with easy integration of operational support systems and billing support systems.
Financial terms of the agreement were not released.
