T-Speed launches wireless Internet service

DALLAS-T-Speed Broadband Communications launched its high-speed wireless Internet access service in Dallas/Fort Worth, the company announced.

The company said it is targeting small and medium-sized businesses, and it already has signed agreements with more than 50 office buildings throughout the area.

T-Speed charges $50 per individual computer for an always-on connection and a flat rate of $500 per month for 11 to 20 computers.

“There are substantial discounts for companies with 21 computers and more,” said N. Mark Varel, president and chief executive officer of T-Speed. T-Speed was founded in February by Varel and John Adel Sr.
