SOMERS, N.Y.-IBM Corp. announced a number of software developers have chosen its WebSphere Everyplace Suite as the platform on which they will extend their applications to various wireless devices.

The company has targeted developers along a cross section of finance, enterprise and vertical industry applications. They include;
Agenetics, developing a computing infrastructure for B2B and B2C intelligent agents;
Digia, a third-generation wireless Internet software company creating virtual communities;
Extensity, providing Internet solutions for travel and expense management;
Financial Fusion, which creates middleware for banks and insurance firms;
Indus International, an asset management solutions company;
Macalla Software, a mobile commerce provider;
Microstrategy, which makes business intelligence software and solutions;
MobileLogic, an enterprise mobile solutions provider;
Prism Communications Systems, developing mobile health-care applications;
River Run Software Group, creating various sales and costumer relation management systems; and
w-Technologies, a business and financial wireless solution provider.
