Diversinet, Fujitsu-ICL enter partnership

TORONTO-Diversinet Corp. and Fujitsu-ICL Systems Inc. formed a partnership so Fujitsu-ICL can offer certificate authorization functions for business-to-business services.

The deal calls for Diversinet to license its Passport certificate server and Passport authorization product to Fujitsu-ICL. Fujitsu-ICL hopes to combine the products with its system integration capabilities to offer customers value-added, transaction-based services and specialized integration capabilities.

Fujitsu-ICL provides information technology solutions, and Diversinet enables mobile e-commerce services.
