ORLANDO, Fla.-MeshNetworks Inc. raised $26 million in its second round of funding, which was led by Redwood Ventures.
Additional investors included ITT Industries Inc., BancBoston Ventures, Patricof & Co. and 3Com Ventures.
“We’re always looking for new communications technologies,” said Anik Bose, 3Com Venture’s vice president. “This one has enormous potential.”
MeshNetworks said its technology allows mobile devices to network through each other, making the devices part of the network.
