ARMONK, N.Y.-Melard Technologies Inc. and VisionAir Inc. entered an alliance to provide wireless systems and application solutions aimed at public safety and field-service organizations.
The deal also calls for the companies to market Melard’s line of wireless notebooks and handheld devices.
Under the agreement, VisionAir will provide its gateway service through Melard’s various computers, which the companies said will allow mobile workers to perform on-site testing and diagnostic procedures.
Melard provides business-to-business wireless systems and services, and VisionAir designs and develops wireless applications for mobile workers.
