BOSTON-Nortel Networks has launched a WAP-based solution to enable mobile field service professionals to access customer requests and service history.
The product, called Wireless Field Service and Logistics solution, was jointly developed with Accenture and will also provide mobile work forces with up-to-date inventory data, customer account and case information without having to leave their vehicles. “Customers will be serviced more efficiently and workers will be more productive,” said Sheryl Kingstone, program manager, CRM Strategies, Yankee Group.
