BASKING RIDGE, N.J.-Business communications solutions and services provider Avaya announced it will create a Solutions Department Program to help third-party vendors design hardware and software applications for Avaya’s communications products.
“It gives us the opportunity to improve customer satisfaction by offering a wide variety of applications from some of the best and brightest developers in the world, while at the same time, improving our cost structure and more tightly focusing our own development resources,” said Ave Elliott, the company’s vice president for enterprise communications products.
Some of the companies that have joined the program include LGC Wireless Inc., Business Layers Inc. and Xtend Communications Corp.
