Certicom released its Trustpoint suite of flexible public key infrastructure products, which the company said will allow businesses to create secure mobile commerce applications that interoperate with existing PKI infrastructures. The company said its new product provides an open, standards-based security architecture that integrates into any existing wired or wireless security infrastructure. Trustpoint includes Elliptic Curve Cryptography, which the company said provides fast authentications of certificates and removes the performance drag that other authentication methods have on mobile devices or high-volume servers. Vocus Inc. released a new wireless application for the public relations industry, which the company said will allow users to wirelessly respond to press inquiries, review PR-related activities and coordinate media campaigns. The company said its system uses advanced radio design techniques and can reach up to 28 miles, depending on the topography and other conditions. The new product has two interfaces: One can automatically receive e-mails and send them to any wireless device, and the second allows messages to be sent directly from Web pages to pagers and other wireless devices, according to the company. Telus Mobility introduced its TELUSmail, which the company said is a wireless e-mail service available at no extra charge to its clients in Canada using Surf wireless Web services. The program allows users of Mike and Clearnet personal communications services phones to send and receive e-mail text messages. NowSpeed

NowSpeed Inc. released its Email-By-Voice product, which the company said is an enterprise-class voice e-mail service designed to make e-mail as ubiquitous and available as corporate voice mail is today. The company said the program allows businesspeople universal and secure access to corporate e-mail through any touch-tone phone. The service beats other such offerings because it can be rapidly deployed, supports attachments and is aggressively priced, NowSpeed said. Email-By-Voice can be deployed through an application service provider, and will soon feature calendars, address books and other content, according to the company. OnMobile

OnMobile Inc. introduced a new product, OnStock, which the company said is an end-to-end, voice-enabled solution for financial institutions. OnStock is an open-standards application allowing users to get personalized information in real-time through almost any medium, including the Internet, telephone and wireless devices such as WAP phones, pagers and the Blackberry handheld computer, according the company. OnMobile said its new product features more than 15,000 equity and fund names, and allows users to trade stocks in any of the major stock exchanges. Wireless Knowledge Inc. introduced its new Anystyle software, which the company said is a complete solution for accessing business data from wireless devices. Wireless Knowledge said its software extends the capabilities of its Workstyle Server solutions-offering mobile access to corporate e-mail, calendar and contact information-to devices with offline capabilities. The company said Anystyle automatically synchronizes data over the air whenever a device is in range and then stores the data on the device for offline usage. Mobilaris AB released its new product, Wireless Portal, which the company said allows wireless carriers to build location-based information databases by letting content owners enter their information in the database while being automatically positioned. Espial introduced its DeviceServer system, a solution the company said enables service providers to customize, deliver, manage and bill for personalized information services to both wireless and wireline devices. Marconi Commerce Systems announced it developed a new product to make wireless payment options available to retail stores. The company’s new device uses radio-frequency identification technology, which the company said will allow customers to wave an RFID device, like a key tag, in front of a reader to pay for purchases wirelessly. The National Dispatch Center Inc. introduced its Corporate MessageYes! service, which the company said will allow users to send text messages to any individual or group regardless of their wireless device or carrier. The system operates through a MessageYes! Web site, which includes a list of all the people in the organization subscribing to NDC’s service. A user may look up any name or group and type and send a message.
