HELSINKI, Finland- Nokia Corp. has selected subcontractors to supply its 3G equipment around the world.
The subcontractors are Skanska Telecom networks and Flextronics Network Services in Sweden; Boke and Walterfang GmbH and Pfleiderer AG in Germany; Landis Public Networks B.V., Electro Zwijsen-Mourik B.V. and Electron Telecom B.V. in The Netherlands; Spie Trindel in France; ETS and SITE in Italy; and Exi Telecoms and MyCom in the United Kingdom.
“Having these networks of skilled dedicated personnel in place means the need for flexibility and reaction speed is met in preparing for fast take-off of 3G networks,” said Matti Makkonen, senior vice president, professional services, Nokia Networks.
