STOCKHOLM, Sweden-Telia AB said it will sell its financial interests in Brazilian mobile operator Tess to Telecom Americas for $950 million. Telia has a 62-percent stake in Tess, which has about 940,000 wireless subscribers.
Telia and Telia Overseas are selling all their preferred shares in Tess, which carry few votes, but will continue to own a small block of shares carrying a large number of votes to maintain control over Tess.
