WICHITA, Kan.-IFR Systems Inc. and GenRad have signed a memorandum of understanding outlining their plans to jointly develop and market manufacturing test systems for wireless handsets.
The companies will share engineering and marketing strategies as well as information on production test platforms. IFR will supply GenRad with radio test sets, RF digitizers and signal sources for integration into GenRad’s current and future product lines.
According to Jeff Bloomer, IFR’s chief executive officer, “Our focus on creating new and better solutions for testing wireless products will definitely be advanced with IFR and GenRad’s new ATE solutions.”
