LITTLE ROCK, Ark.-Alltel Corp. partnered with LookSmart, a provider of Web directories, to offer a wireless Internet search and directory feature for its Web-Unwired customers.
The service allows users to search for particular topics by entering key words on their wireless handsets or by scrolling through various categories, including news, entertainment, sports and travel. Customers can also log onto Alltel’s Web site from a personal computer and bookmark sites for their wireless phones.
