SAN JOSE, Calif.-Mobile security company Everypath Inc. today announced eBANK, a Japanese e-commerce financial services provider, selected Everypath’s technology to offer its financial services wirelessly.
Everypath said its software will allow the company to offer its services over WAP phones using KDDI, NTT DoCoMo’s i-mode and J-Phone’s J-Sky protocols.
As part of the deal, Everypath also will open an office in Tokyo.
“We are very excited about the opportunity for Everypath Japan K.K., the new team, and the launch of internationalized versions of our products,” said Venktesh Shukla, Everypath’s chief executive officer.
