SAN JOSE, Calif.-Semotus Solutions, a wireless application service provider and infrastructure architect, recently acquired Greenwood Village, Colo.-based Application Design Associates Inc., a provider of equipment-centric integrated tracking systems for the beverage industry.
“The acquisition of Application Design Associates has an immediate impact on both our cash flow and revenues and expands not only our customer base but also our service capabilities in field service automation, broadening our market share in proven solutions for a mobile work force,” said Anthony N. LaPine, chairman and chief executive officer of Semotus Solutions.
Semotus Solutions also announced the launch of its Global Market Pro 2.0, a wireless application targeted at the financial professional. GMP 2.0 allows users to wirelessly access data from Reuters’ Market Alerts and Intraday Watch Lists as well as the Dow Jones Newswire, which includes the Dow Jones Capital Markets report, Dow Jones Economic Report and Dow Jones Market Talk. Users can also customize information from these sites directly on their devices or through an Internet-based account maintenance site.
