ROME-Xmarc Inc. and Airbiquity Inc. are unveiling their Airbiquity-Xmarc Location Environment, or axle, a vertical location-based application environment designed to accelerate deployment of GPS-enabled routing, fleet management, asset tracking and roadside assistance.
The companies said they will market axle, which can be deployed across any wireless voice network, to mobile network operators, roadside assistance organizations, call centers and the logistics and transportation markets.
