SAN JOSE, California, United States—Cisco Systems said China’s second-largest mobile telephone carrier has picked it to expand its networks in an approximately US$40 million deal that includes routers, switches and access servers.
The deal, which the company expects to complete in about 18 months, will extend Voice-over-Internet Protocol (VoIP) networks to more than 321 cities in the country.
