REDWOOD SHORES, Calif.-iPass Inc., a provider of remote access services, announced it will join with Jitong Network Communications Co. Ltd., a data, Internet and telecommunications company in China, to supply secure Internet roaming solutions to business customers in China.
iPass will enable Jitong’s clients to remotely connect to company intranets and applications, like e-mail, with a secure IP/VPN tunnel. This service, which Jitong has branded the Corporate Global Roaming service, uses iPass Connect client software.
