Aspiro provides customers access to GlobalDining

TABY, Sweden—Aspiro has agreed to deliver GlobalDining’s mobile restaurant directory and reservation network to its customers throughout Europe, the Middle East and Asia.
According to Aspiro, the agreement, which is subsidized entirely by participating restaurants, will for the first time provide it with a revenue stream from an application provider. GlobalDining’s service now includes more than 500,000 restaurants in more than 40 countries and 18,000 cities.
In other news, Aspiro has signed orders with six undisclosed European customers for processing short message service traffic. The new customers include Internet portals and companies in Germany, The Netherlands and Great Britain.
