NEW YORK-Snaz Commerce Solutions, which provided wireless commerce products, said today it was forced to file for Chapter 7 bankruptcy, which involves liquidating all the company’s assets.
“I am disappointed that Snaz will not be able to continue its pioneering efforts, despite our success in the mobile commerce space,” said Vikram Chachra, the company’s co-founder and chief strategy officer.
Snaz billed itself as a leading provider of wireless Internet commerce solutions. The company used an open-standards based proprietary technology to offer wireless Web shopping. The company also powered wireless and online portals on a private label basis.
