STOCKHOLM, Sweden—L.M. Ericsson said it has licensed its technology for smart card transactions over the mobile Internet to France-based Xiring, which designs and markets personal card readers and secures transaction solutions for consumers.
“Xiring and Ericsson share the same vision of a wireless communication-enabled future,” said George Liberman, chief executive officer of Xiring.
