SAN DIEGO—Phone maker Kyocera Corp. has appointed Howard W. Speaks Jr. as its president and chief operating officer. He was the chief executive officer of Triton Network Systems before his new position.
“Skip brings a proven track record of working with a number of the wireless industry’s largest carriers, which will further our goal of being the preferred handset provider to our carrier partners,” said Masahiro Inoue, chief executive officer of Kyocera Wireless Corp.
