NEW YORK-Miami-based Advanced Electronic Support Products Inc. announced Sept. 4 it has completed the acquisition of Intelek Spol s.r.o., a distributor and manufacturer of wireless networking products and networking hardware with facilities in the Czech Republic cities of Brno and Prague.
“Our existing operations will benefit from Intelek’s technical expertise in wireless technology, which is a main product line in their business, and Intelek will be able to market our Signamax networking products in the Czech Republic,” said Slav Stein, president and chief executive officer of AESP.
Ivo Kravacek, former owner of Intelek, has joined Advanced Electronic Support Products as chief executive of the Intelek division. In that role, he will spearhead efforts to expand business into other Central European countries, including Poland, Hungary and Slovakia.
