HACKENSACK, N.J.-GoAmerica Inc. announced new features and services for its Go.Web corporate mobile Internet service, and for the first time the company released its Go.Web application-programming interface to the general developer community.
GoAmerica said its new wireless Web features would take advantage of emerging standards, such as push alerts, and would support forthcoming advanced networks like GPRS and CDMA 1xRTT network technologies.
“We are continuously looking for ways to enhance our technology to ensure we are delivering a truly useful wireless solution to our customers and partners,” said Joe Weglein, GoAmerica’s product manager.
Go.Web’s newest version, 6.2, will feature full support for WML, WAP 1.2 Push-compliant alerts, a queue manager and enhanced navigation.
