DALLAS—JP Mobile has released the newest version of its SureWave Mobile Server, which delivers wireless e-mail and corporate applications to enterprises.
According to JP Mobile, the enhanced version incorporates device-side synchronization based on SyncML and supports the J2EE standard, allowing users to update all of their devices and the corporate server by modifying via only a RIM or Palm OS device. In addition, the new version will allow a client-side database, which will work with almost any application, to be carried on devices for offline browsing.
