SARATOGA, Calif.—Webraska, a provider of wireless navigation services and technologies, and AirFlash, a provider of location-based technologies and services, announced they are merging. The new company will be called Webraska.
Upon receiving regulatory approval, Webraska shareholders will own 87 percent of the merged company, and AirFlash shareholders will own 13 percent. Further financial details of the deal were not disclosed.
The combined entity will have more than 12 carrier clients around the world that serve approximately 80 million mobile-phone customers, the companies said. Its worldwide headquarters will be in Maisons-Laffitte, France, and its North American headquarters will be in Saratoga, California, United States.
