Mexico’s Alestra expands its broadband wireless network

TEL AVIV, Israel—Alvarion said Mexico’s Alestra is deploying its base stations and terminal equipment in the 10.5 GHz frequency band. The equipment will address commercial demand for Alestra’s broadband wireless services, Alvarion said.

Alestra, an AT&T subsidiary, offers service in the Monterrey and Guadalajara metropolitan areas.
