SAN DIEGO—Qualcomm Inc. says it has licensed Haier Group to develop, manufacture and sell cdmaOne and cdma2000 1x/1xEV equipment.
Haier will pay Qualcomm royalties at the same rate, irrespective of the licensed CDMA standard it implements.
