FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla.—TeleComputing has released its new Mobile Services Powered by TECOS, a hosted application solution that enables service providers to deploy services that offer PDA users secure access to information on their corporate exchange servers.
Mobile users can get access to their Microsoft Exchange Server from their PDA and then directly access information from their Exchange inbox, calendar, contacts, tasks and public folders.
“With increasingly mobile work forces and competitive business markets, companies are looking to PDAs and WAP-enabled phones as serious business tools,” said Jennifer DiMarzio of Summit Strategies, a Boston-based consulting firm. “Services such as this new one from TeleComputing, which works on top of TeleComputing’s private label hosted Exchange 2000 solution, are valuable to enable mobile professionals to be productive on the road by giving them access to information on their corporate intranets.”
