CHICAGO—Motorola Inc. said it has created a new subsidiary called Thoughtbeam Inc. to commercialize its chip technology, which combines low-cost silicon with speed-of-light.
The company’s corporate vice president Padmasree Warrior will head the subsidiary as general manager.
