BOCA RATON, Fla.-SBA Communications Corp. reported revenues for the third quarter ended Sept. 30 of $63 million, an increase from the $45.4 million reported for third-quarter 2000.
The company reported a net loss of $49.1 million, or $1.03 per share, compared with a net loss of $5.9 million, or 14 cents per share, for the same period last year.
SBA said revenues were higher because of the increase in site leasing revenue, which rose 102 percent from third-quarter 2000 to $27.7 million for this year’s third quarter.
