NORWOOD, Mass.—Compaq Computer Corp. selected Analog Devices’ Othello and Softfone GSM/GPRS chipsets for use in its wireless Pack for the iPAQ Pocket PC.
“The field-proven Othello and Softfone chipsets allowed the Wireless Pack to easily pass the stringent GSM full type approval, FCC and industry Canada testing,” said Cindy Box, Compaq’s director of iPAQ mobile solutions.
