SAN FRANCISCO—Oracle Corp. introduced the wireless and voice features for its Oracle application server release 2, which include enhanced support for voice access to Internet applications, wireless messaging, wireless security, mobile e-mail, location-based services and support for 2.5 G and third-generation networks.
“Businesses that use Oracle9I application server to rapidly and easily deploy wireless and voice applications can experience employee productivity and reduced costs since there is no need for special skills or hardware,” said Oracle in a statement.
