VANCOUVER, British Columbia—The Federal Communications Commission and Industry Canada have issued regulatory approvals for Sierra Wireless’s AirCard 710 Wireless Network Card, the first GSM/GPRS product in the company’s AirCard product line.
“We are progressing toward launching our new GPRS product line into the global marketplace and these approvals represent an important milestone,” said Mark McMillan, vice president of marketing at Sierra Wireless. “The addition of the new product will nicely enhance our AirCard product line and strategically position us to address the major cellular data technologies.”
