STOCKHOLM, Sweden—Swedish vendor Ericsson said it will slash up to 1,000 jobs in its mobile , as well as its research and development operations, worldwide by the end of the second quarter this year.
This round of job cuts will be added to the ones already announced last year as part of what the company has characterized as its efficiency program.
