ST. LOUIS, United States—Telia Mobile Denmark will use billing system provider Amdocs’ Ensemble product for its convergent customer care and billing system, the companies announced.
The billing platform combines voice, data and General Packet Radio Service (GPRS) services and allows Telia Mobile to support both volume- and event-based rating and billing.
As carriers roll out 2.5- and third-generation (3G) networks, industry observers have pointed out the need for advanced billing systems that can handle the complexities of advanced data and voice services.
