MUNICH—George Nolen has been named U.S. head of Siemens Information and Communication Networks. Nolen, 45, previously served as president of Siemens Enterprise networks in the United States.
“George Nolen has proven that he can cope successfully with change processes in a challenging competitive environment, and I am certain that he will guide our U.S. unit back to stable earnings,” said Thomas Ganswindt, head of Siemens’ worldwide telecommunications group.
Nolen takes the place of Mark Floyd, who left the position at the end of January. Since then, Ganswindt has been acting head of ICN U.S. and he will continue to be involved as chairman.
