MUNICH, Germany—Siemens said it received a US$11 million order from China Mobile Communications Corporation (MCC) to expand its GSM network in Tibet.
Siemens Information and Communication Mobile Group will supply and install switching equipment by July through its Chinese subsidiary Siemens Shanghai Mobile Communications. Siemens will provide the GSM switching equipment for the Tibetan capital Lhasa.
