NEW YORK—The Mobile Marketing Association (MMA) plans to hold its next quarterly general meeting in Orlando on March 19 in conjunction with the Cellular Telecommunications & Internet Association’s Wireless 2002 show.
“All indications point towards 2002 being a groundbreaking year for wireless marketing, with all segments of the industry coming together to ensure an orderly and carefully planned roll-out of this dynamic new media platform,” said Robert O’Hare, chairman of the MMA. “In addition to continuing our efforts to provide the global wireless industry with voluntary guidelines for success, we feel it is of utmost importance to learn how to effectively reach the consumer in a positive manner.”
The MMA said it will present speakers, case studies and MMA initiative reviews at the meeting.
