ORLANDO, Fla.—Air2Web announced its Mobile Internet Platform now supports the BREW application platform and that the company will demonstrate wireless e-mail, as well as several other applications, developed on the BREW platform CTIA Wireless 2002 this week.
The Air2Web Airmail application allows BREW-enabled handset users to wirelessly receive, compose, forward, reply and delete e-mail messages and incorporates offline support via a store-and-forward capability.
“We see a lot of potential with the BREW platform, and believe it will significantly increase the use of wireless applications because it allows employees and customers to input data, conduct transactions, and transmit information much more effectively and efficiently,” said Sanjoy Malik, president and chief executive officer of Air2Web.
