TORONTO—In a move to cut its costs and provide savings for its customers, 724 Solutions announced that Computer Sciences Corp. will resell its software applications, provide systems integration and manage its application hosting business.
“The combined offering that results from this alliance will help us bring more value to our customers while we continue our drive toward our profit objectives,” said John Sims, 724 Solutions’ chief executive officer.
Under the wide-ranging agreement, CSC will resell 724 Solutions’ Alerts, Banking and Credit Card products, and 724 Solutions’ technology will be integrated into CSC’s software products. Further, 724 Solutions will move its application hosting business into CSC’s e-HUB Application Hosting facilities. 724 Solutions said the move will help it focus on its core wireless business while creating a cost-effective hosting service option.
