ATLANTA—Telemetry provider Numerex Corp. announced it is in negotiations with BT Group plc to purchase the company’s RedCare telemetry network, a move that could expand Numerex’s reach into the U.K. marketplace.
Numerex said it made its announcement before a final deal had been reached “so that the employees of BT RedCare can be informed of the proposed purchaser, and full consultation with the trade unions can be progressed,” the company said.
Numerex said heads of agreement have been signed, but that negotiations are ongoing.
