MONTREAL—SMS content aggregator and SMS operator Atlas Telecom Mobile (ATM) has licensed Oz Communications Inc.’s Mobile Communities Solution to power its SMS-based content services.
Specifically, ATM will use Oz’s MCS technology to provide information and new alerts via SMS for this summer’s Soccer World Cup. Users will be able to receive SMS messages regarding game results, latest news and goals as they are scored.
“Our Soccer World Cup card is the first in a series of innovative, specialized content services we are offering to the market in the form of prepaid cards,” said Paul Forostowsky, chief executive officer of ATM.
