SAN DIEGO—Wireless Facilities Inc. won a three-year subcontract from Bechtel Corp. in conjunction with Cingular Wireless’ GSM/GPRS network overlay project.
Bechtel will have responsibility for program management including logistics, equipment procurement, construction management and materials management, while WFI will provide professional services such as site acquisition and zoning. WFI will also licenses its Dynamic Tracker proprietary network planning tool allowing for tracking and total customer visibility on the overlay project.
Financial terms of the contract were not released.
