SANTA CLARA, Calif.—Wireless module and terminal designer Cellon International announced it has received funding form the Intel Communications Fund, Softband China Venture Capital, SUNeVision Venture and UTStarcom, completing the company’s Series C round of venture financing.
“The investment capital will be used to fund the expansion of our marketing and R&D efforts to meet the demands of the next generation of wireless products,” said Billy Crotty, vice president and chief operating officer of Cellon. “We are confident in our outlook for 2002 as we continue to build on new and existing client relationships in all our target markets and geographic regions.”
Financial details of the funding were not disclosed.
